This is to announce that the club has decided to rename our Volunteer of the Year Award in honour of a true Club Legend, Martin Deacon.
Martin Deacon was a Manager at Ruislip Rangers for 10 years and is currently battling terminal gallbladder cancer. As part of his care, he has been spending time at the Michael Sobell Hospice at Mount Vernon Hospital.The Martin Deacon Volunteer of the Year Award as it will now be known, is the most prestigious honour a member can receive as it recognizes the person who has given the most and made the biggest contribution to the club.
