Rangers came up a very good team in excellent form and were never in this game. Hampton got to the quarter-finals of this competition last season and will surely get to the latter stages this year as well.
Rangers failed to win many tackles and spent most of the first period in their own half. Hampton passed the ball around well and were deservedly 6-0 up at the half.
The boys did better at the start of the second half but failed to create any meaningful chances.
Next week the season begins for real with the first league match of the campaign.
