From the off we were strong and it wasn’t long before we had scored, Caitlin Stronge stroking home a close range shot. Soon afterwards Savana latched onto a ball near the edge of their box, steadied it and then shot to put us two ahead. With an own goal from them during a goal mouth melee, another from Savana and a superb little tap in from Jessica we ended the half 5 up.
The second half started where the first left off with strong possession throughout. Add to that two more goals from Jessica and another from Caitlin and we ran out 8 goals to the good. There were some notable performances from Georgina playing a strong defensive mid-field, Charlie McBrayne on both sides of strike and Chloe Widdows Attacking midfield (Both the latter had some nice shots on goal which alas went wide). Stella Dodwell’s performance was quite rightly rewarded with Girl of Match.
