Goalscorers : Savana Fearon 3 Jessica Vassena & Charlotte McBrayne GOM : Savana Fearon This was a heavy going match on a very wet pitch. The ball was difficult to pass and it was like wading through treacle. However, we took the game to them and started to break down their defences. Savana soon put us in the lead with a fine run and a strong shot on goal. We fell asleep a bit part-way through the half and they broke through our midfield and defence and lobbed Shannon for a goal. Undaunted we responded with a fine piece of football involving some short passing and keeping possession resulting in another Savana goal. We went into the second half with a strong attitude and we were soon another goal up with a third goal from Savana. These were soon followed up by a lovely little tap in from Jessica Vassena and a class left footer from Charlotte McBrayne from an angle which went in from a rebound off the post. This was another fine display of football from all involved.
