Immediate care of the injured person

This should be carried out by the team manager/coach or a responsible person who has attended a first aid training course.

Assess the situation and call Emergency services if needed

  • Position a responsible adult outside the gates to direct the ambulance to the correct pitch
  • Make sure access to pitches is available before the ambulance arrives

There is a defibrillator located on the wall adjacent to the entrance to the Hockey Clubhouse.
