Ruislip Rangers to take part in The FA’s Wildcats Girls Football Clubs initiative

We are currently pulling together the details for our own Girls Mini Soccer Centre as part of The FA’s Wildcats Girls Football Clubs programme.

The FA’s aim is to grow the game for girls aged 5 – 11 and offer a fun introduction to playing football in the community. The goal is to activate girls into football at a younger age by providing increased opportunities to play. We are partnering with QPR Community Trust to bring this new national programme to Ruislip. We will be one of only 4 centres in Middlesex providing a new weekly session offering girls a chance to play and, hopefully, fall in love with the game.

It’s a 16-week programme.

  • Whiteheath Junior School have agreed to host the first 3 weeks (25th April, 2nd & 9th of May) between 3.30 & 4.30 on Tuesdays. These will essentially be closed sessions for Whiteheath pupils.
  • After three weeks we will move to Kings College Fields and run from 5-6. There will also be a fantastic fun exercise session for mums allowing them to stay active whilst their daughters have fun on the football pitch. This will be led by a local personal trainer, Claire Collins (www.clairecollinsfitness.co.uk)
