Sunday 6 November 2016, 1:30 KO. Kings College Fields
Having lost to them 6-1 in the League Cup a few weeks ago, Rangers were eager for revenge. That showed as they possibly put in their best performance of the season so far.
Rangers took the lead early into the second half through Flynn. Playing upfront for the first time, Kamaal neatly tucked away the second goal from a cross from the by-line by Mark. The third goal came just before the half-time whistle when Mark scored from a free kick on the right.
The second half was literally a bruising encounter for Josh, who was playing at centre half, when he was punched by a Langley player. He kept his composure, though, and continued to play well for the rest of the game. Langley got a goal back in controversial circumstances when it became apparent that they had 12 players on the pitch when the goal was scored. The referee ruled, however, that the goal should stand. Rangers held on well for the rest of the half to earn a well-deserved win.
