Since we played in a friendly 2 weeks ago, Aylesbury United have done there Homework. They decided the only way to score goals against Shannon was to aim them high, and they did this with aplomb. We took the kick off and were very strong for a while but there defence kept us out, and then the onslaught began. We were 6-0 down at the break. We changed the formation a little and this slowed them down a bit. We also made some good rallying attacks in the second half but were unable to convert. Their homework paid off as proof that when they tried to run the ball in Shannon was all over them. A disappointing result after the euphoria of a couple of weeks ago.
