Aylesbury 14s 2 – 2  Ruislip Rangers U14W

Haywood Way, Sunday 30 January 2016, 12:30 KO

In a lively game, Rangers played really well once again and earned a deserved draw against a team that had won their previous seven league matches in a row.

Rangers started well and enjoyed plenty of possession. They took the lead in the 16th minute when Mark hit a shot from the right edge of the box into the top corner. Rangers defended bravely and excellently which was typified when Billy cleared the ball off the line late in the first half to ensure that Rangers went into the break with the lead.

Aaron came on to make his debut for the team at the start of the second half and put in a solid performance. Aylesbury started strong and equalised five minutes into the second half when they scored from one of the many free kicks they were being awarded. Jerome restored the lead when he pounced on the ball and hit it low and powerfully into the corner. Aylesbury equalised five minutes later. The match got heated towards the end but Rangers held their nerve to continue their good run of form.
