This Sunday’s match between our Under 18 Clarets team and Holmer Green Under 18s will be the last game that the team’s Manager, Mark Hollinrake, will take charge of after 12 years of running the team.
Mark’s team started out in 2009 as the Under 7C team and played in the Harrow League before moving to the Wycombe and South Bucks Minors Football League a few years ago under the new name of the Clarets. In those 12 years, Mark’s team won a promotion in the 2017/18 season and won summer tournaments at Wealdstone and Windsor.
Mark has also given a lot to the club in other ways over the years having served as the club’s Treasurer in recent years and he took on the Kit Manager role in 2020.
So wishing Mark and his team all the best for Sunday and a thank you to Mark for all he has done for the boys and parents of his team and the club as a whole. So why not get along and support Mark’s team if you can – the kick-off is 9:30 on pitch C1.
