The team knew this was going to be no easy game against an in form powerful Wembley side. The boys were given the tactics and formation before the game and leading the division told to go and express their football abilities. They duly did so as inside ten minutes Jack Tomkins put in a low cross for Ben Poole to hit a lob first time over the keeper from 20 yards out. Jack Tomkins then pounced on a parry from the keeper ten minutes later to drive the ball across goal and into the bottom corner. The hard work from Josh Harnett paid off when a volley from the edge of the box found the top corner just before half time. A fine first half display from our forwards who looked threatening with every attack. Into the second half and it would be our defence that would ensure another victory for Ruislip as Wembley got a goal back but to no avail as our defending was just too strong and organised. A complete team performance earned another 3 points. With two games remaining and 1 point required ensures Ruislip Rangers B crowned champions. Well Done Boys!
