Policies

Football Clubs should be judged by the standard of their football, however all too often it is their behaviour on or off the pitch that determines whether a club is good or bad. Therefore, all Players, Coaches, Parents and Supporters are asked to abide by the Ruislip Rangers Code of Conduct at all times. Any infringements of the Code of Conduct may result in players not being considered for team selection, or in the event of serious misconduct being expelled from Ruislip Rangers F.C.

Players should

  • Play within the laws of the game.
  • Be punctual for training and matches
  • Attend training regularly
  • Behave honestly and sportingly
  • Accept the coaches/managers decisions
  • Respect opponents, match officials and spectators
  • Encourage their team mates
  • Wear appropriate footwear and shin pads
  • Not use foul and abusive language
  • Not retaliate or fight with opponents or team mates
  • Not belittle opponents
  • Not argue with match officials

Managers and Coaches should

  • Support, encourage and praise players
  • Set a good example to players
  • Be impartial in making decisions
  • Comply with F.A., League and Club rules
  • Organise in good time, training sessions and match day activities
  • Make playing football enjoyable
  • Involve all players whenever possible
  • Accept feedback
  • Not attempt to win at all costs
  • Not cheat or attempt to deceive referees
  • Not knowingly play unfit players

Parents and spectators should

  • Support, encourage and praise players
  • Give positive feedback
  • Discuss team matters in private
  • Respect opponents and match officials
  • Offer support and help to the manager and/or coach
  • Not use foul, abusive or threatening language at matches.
  • Not resort to using violent behaviour
  • Not attend matches whilst drunk or otherwise intoxicated
  • Not consume alcohol or use drugs at matches
  • Not put undue pressure on players

Managers, Coaches, Players, Parents and Supporters should

  • Show consideration for pitches, equipment and premises especially when playing away
  • Not leave litter/debris/orange peel/ plastic bottles around pitches after games
  • Ensure that changing rooms are left in a clean and tidy condition

At home games played at Eastcote Hockey & Badminton Club

  • Treat all officers and members of EHBC with respect at all times
  • Show respect to local residents
  • Treat the EHBC premises with consideration and care
  • Ensure that football boots are removed before entering the changing rooms
  • Ensure that ball games are not played in the hall or on any other part of the EHBC premises other than the designated football pitches
