TFA Totteridge 9 – 2 U12B

Sunday 19 October 2014, New Southgate Recreation Ground

This was perhaps this team’s most disapointing loss in their six and a half years of existence. They went from being two goals up and comfortably in control of the game to being soundly beaten.

Rangers were one-nil up in the first couple of minutes thanks to a shot by Josh. In the 7th minute Toby tucked away his shot brilliantly having been put through by Kamaal. Then it all went wrong. TFA Totteridge scored their first from a corner and their second from a free kick. Totteridge were shooting any time they had sight of the goal. They got their third and fourth goals soon after and their fifth came just before the half.

Totteridge scored four more in the second half. Every time they came forward, TFA felt they could score. Rangers came close a few times but nothing came off.

The team have been suffered big losses before but never against a team that was there for the taking. The next few games need to be a turning point in the season. If not, they can forget any hopes of promotion.
