Notes: Ruislip Rangers came from a goal behind to earn a decent point against a good Hanwell Town side. Both teams showed glimpses of the decent football they can play, although the game wasn’t allowed to flow. Hanwell edged the first half and deserved their lead, although Ruislip Rangers came close to equalising on the stroke of half time as Sam Drake hit a pile driver from 40 yards which smashed off the crossbar. The second half belonged the Ruislip Rangers and after a number of decent attempts man of the match Ryan Kirwan drew a foul on the edge of the box and Jono Barry stepped up to curl the ball over the wall and into the top corner. In the dying minutes after a goalmouth scramble Billy Grimmel saw his shot fizz just over the cross bar. It would have been a great winner but a draw was probably the right result.
